76 1971-'72 Band Nears Perfection Mr. Thomas Mann expertly directed the Conestoga Valley Band through another successful year. During the fall, the band thrilled the spectators with popular songs and accurately performed drills at halftime of each football game. Many of the same contemporary selections were played by th? band for the Ephrata, New Holland, and Myerstown farm show parades. Although the band received new uniforms last year, this was the first year that the band members wore the uniforms at football games. After th fall season, the band prepared to do two fine concerts. The winter and spring concerts were performed on january 23, and May 18. By fulfilling their responsibilities, the band officers added greatly to the band's success. But the greatest reason for the euphonious sound of th band was the dedication of the band members and the skilled direction of Mr. Mann. C G l ifliizi . ' 4 f -- n 1 L asain: ., l Abou- Row 1: L.
