Seniors Unfold Their Talent In Two One-Act Plays Purple trees . . . the front porch of a New England farmhouse . . . early evening . . . the beginning of the present century . . . the return of a hired man. This is the setting of Death of A Hired Man, a one act play dramatized from the poem written by Robert Frost. The play depicts a farmer and his wife faced with the situation of rehiring an in- competent employee. , Battle Meadows . . . Happy Homes Incorporated . . . Civil War sounds . . . the ghost of a confederate soldierg all employ the conflicts faced among the townspeople as to whether the price of progress is worth forsaking tradition in Edward Finnegan's My Hands Is Full O' Gifts. Differing from traditional C.V. class plays, the Senior Class of 1972 performed two one-act plays on November 19, 20, 1971, directed by Mr. Neil Dneibelbis and student directed by jean Wanner.
