CHESS CLUB Directed by Mr. Schlorer, the members of the Chess Club con- tinued to increase their knowledge of the game by learning many shitty new moves. As before, the c1ub's main activity was a club tournament. J B F. H. A. Under the direction of Mrs. Demoise, the group has had movies pertaining to home- rnaking, and held an induction service for the members, with ten- tative plans for the fu- ture.' Y.B. ART APPRECIATION The art club was supervised by Mrs. Brubaker. The artis- tically talented stu- dents worked ardently to beautify our school. Everyone especially enjoyed their work at Christmas. JL. ARCHERY CLUB The members of this club, as its name im- plies, practiced and acquired skill in the use of the bow and ar- row. Mr. Bortzfield was the advisor. J S Eighty-two BUSINESS EDUCATION The business club, under the able guid- ance of Mrs. Suter, and Mr. Smith, was formed to give the students a better understanding of the business world. J L

GREAT BOOKS CLUB Under the direction of Miss Kendig, the literary group are reading great novels of time passed and pre- sent. A book review is given in the clubperiod in order to interest the members in reading that same book. Y.B. FUTURE TEACHERS CLUB Under the direction of Mr. Emmit, the group is discussing the problems that may arise in college and ad- mission requirements.
