Under the able direction of Mr. Wingin- roth, the chorus completed another year. At the Christmas Concert the chorus presented The Two Sides of Christmas. The sacred selections were presented first, followed by the secular music. Besides the Christmas program, the chorus also held a Spring Concert. The Girl's Chorus exhibited their quality in the Christmas C onc e r t and the Annual Spring Concert. Their diligent service was also rendered at Baccalaureate and Com- mencement. Thus ended another successful year of the vocal department of our school. Y. B. JUNIOR PLA Y The curtain fell on a packed audience on Saturday night, March 23, 1963, and THE BARRETTS OF WI M P O L E STREET was over, and clearly an unmistakable success. Only a few short weeks before, Mr. Appel had gathered together a group of unexperi- enced students and, with a little effort, trans- formed them into budding actors. Everyone who worked to make our Junior Play a suc- cess, and anyone who saw this moving and dramatic story of the courtship of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning, will always have fond recollections of THE BARRETTS OF WIMPOLE STREET.
