fofefwofm In initio Conestoga Valley High School was but a dim vis- ion in the foresighted and imaginative minds of parents and of- ficials of the three townships presently united under its title. However, one by one the multitude of tasks involved in this undertaking yielded to the unselfish and untiring diligence of these men and women. We, the recipients of this project, initiated the use of the building of Conestoga Valley High School in September 1958. However, we blazed trails in directions other than that of mere newness of physical plant, we enjoyed more diversified curricula from which to choose our courses of study, increased activities in which to participate, and many new friends with whom to as- sociate. Herewith we, the first class to embark on life's journey from this school, record the affairs of its initial year in this Conewago. We hope that in the years to come its pages will revive warm memories of the beginning of the era of education at Conestoga Valley High School, 1958 - -. .l F'
