THE NURSES To choose a life of service For those who suffer here Is a choice among the highest Uf the things we hold most dear. It means each passing moment Is a challenge to live and be A servant to the suffering Which proves their nobility. Their hearts and souls are whiter Than the uniforms they wear And the 'way they perform their duties Proves to all they really care. So may God bless and protect These angels of peace and light Who labour to help the suffering Every day and every night. Ronald Miller
