dffaajhnm Three years ago, we were classed as fright- ened probies. On the fourth of September we took our first steps toward our goal of becoming nurses. First on the agenda was to organize our class. The above officers and our advisor, Miss Matig, were chosen. Soon our days were occupied by attending classes at .lunior Pitt. As January drew to an end, we bade thetm farewell and settled down to the hospital routine. The awaited day, March eleventh, finally ar- rived. No more black bows . . . we were ready to be capped! Kalmanir, taken-T. Gramling, secretary. 'Mmm ,711 were fewer in number. Many activities began to get under way, such as dances, a sample fair, skating parties, and bake sales. The purpose of all these was to raise money for the all-important Junior-Senior Dinner-Dance. By the end of February our classes were com- pleted and our group was separated. Some head- ed for Butler for tuberculosis affiliation and others to Torrance for psychiatric experience. June holds many fond memories of the Junior- Senior Dinner-Dance at the Sunnehanna Country Club. A queen was chosen from the class of '53 and the event proved successful. And now we are seniors. Graduation holds opportunities for all. We are ready to accept the challenge offered . . . better nursing care to all. OFFICERS Left to right - M. DeForte, vice-pres: dentp R.
