They study and care for patients with diseases produced by microorgan- isms and foreign proteins, With nutrition- al disorders, new growths, injuries such as fractures, and functional disorders. While assigned to these services, they go to the operating room and the dietary de- partment and they observe eye surgery and physical therapy, all ot which have special contributions to make to their preparation as cr nurse. From the adult medical and surgical divisions of the hos- pital, the students go to the maternity and children's divi- sions. In these clinical services, they are confronted With new problems, and they learn new skills and the adaptation of fundamental nursing 'care to the particular needs of the mother and infant. Through the medical-surgical divisions We are certain that these well in- formed students Will have full control of their future clinical experiences.
