Deloris Gates, Ianet Schmidt, Ioann Shutt, Betty Ann Varney and Pauline Pelesky We have many outside interests but much tree time is spent in the nurses home. ln the tall and win- ter months most ot our in- terests naturally turn to frantic studying. After study hours, we enjoy gathering in our tiny kitchen, relaxing over sandwiches and milk, and laughing wildly over our instructors' mannerisms. What horseplay and an- tics! Any reasonable tac- simile demonstrated is greatly appreciated by all. At other leisure times, We pursue television and radio programs, discuss sports, timely topics, and politics, and even go in tor hair-cutting and per- manent Waving. in nw: nfl-duty Janet Wertz, Marlene Schmidt, Virginia Prieto Beverly McKasick and Gemma Vergerio BACK ROW-Patricia Dominy, Pearl Palazzi and Kathleen Moore FRONT ROW-Ioyce Roberts, Pauline Peleslcy, Shirley Sanner, Ioyce Stephens Doris Gregory , Aurora Calderon, Violet Vrtis and Greeta Clark.

To annex the most promising entertainment, We rush first for the familiar mailbox to find either a major surprise or a minor annoy- ance at the presence or absence of that spe- cial letter. We often become enthusiastic consumers of that All-American service-the telephone. At times we say With maddening anxiety, 'xlt's for you, but make it short because l'm expecting a very important call. ' With permission granted, We enjoy go- ing home too. Neither French leave nor back-door methods are considered. We sign out, sign in, and so enjoy our liberty.
