Owl SioMj- We commenced our long scholastic voy- age with sixty-one eager freshmen in the fall of 1958. We had to reacquaint oinseKes with our former classmates from Conemaiigh Twp. The students eagerly looked forward to join- ing the extra-curricular activities and organi- zations. Topping off our long and exentful freshmen year, we went to the teeming indus- trial city, Pittsburgh. With the absence of our Conemaugh Twp. friends, our ranks dwindled from sixty- one eager freshmen to thirty-one seasoned sophomores. Working together to lessen our future financial burdens, we entered upon many industrious and fun-filled enterprises. We ended the year with an air of confidence, knowing that half the voyage was success- fully accomplished. Never have so few done so much is the keynote for our junior year. Continuing our whirlpool of activities, we immediately initi- ated many fund raising projects. Through the tireless efforts of the class, tiie Junior-Senior Prom was an immense success. This gala af- fair was a climax to an unforgettable year. Flushed with pride, we were eagerly looking forward to becoming seniors. Bursting with excitement and expectation, our small crew began the last leg of that great journey which started so long ago. Some sen- ior projects were selling Christmas candy, candles, selling concessions at basketball games, and scheduling bake sales for special occasions. The highlight of our senior year was the presentation of our Senior Play, Off The Track. The grand finale of our scholastic duration was the invitation, as g uests, to the junior-Senior Prom. Thus ended our long voyage. As we plunge into the future, we will treasure these hallowed memories gathered at East Conemaugh High School. Homeroom Representatives Theresa Rodkey, Robert ' isa!li, Bailjara Fiscus, Robert Slick.
