Junior - Senior Banquet Following dinner, Mr. Ernest Fatland spoke on Jumping to Conclusions. After his interest- ing talk, the Senior Class Will was read. Mr Gilman then reminisced about each of the Seniors, The banquet completed, it was time for the long-awaited prom! In the Old Gym on April 25, the Junior Class re- vealed their artistic accomplishments in creating the 1964 Prom, Moon River. The setting was a River Boat's ballroom which glistened with gold walls and azure blue ceiling. Rotating lights accented the chandelier in the middle of the room. The bridge across Moon River led from the ball- room to the shore line. Under the star-covered sky were the tables and a mural which gave the setting awe-inspiring beauty. As the Barney Powell Or- chestra played the strains of the last song, everyone agreed the serene beauty and atmosphere of Moon River would not soon be forgotten.
