On November 14th, the Junior Class held the annual Sadie Hawkin's Day. Because of bad weather the race was held in the gym instead of outside Qmuch to the girls' advan- tage and the boys' dismayy. The sound of Mr. Neffendorf's revolver started the race and sent the eager girls after the guys. The boys were doomed from the start as the girls proceeded to catch them. . . one by one. The fellows really couldn't complain as they were taken to dinner by their unlawfully wedded wives. Afterwards, the dance at the high school proved to be one of the most stompin', carefree and fun-filled events of the year. Junior class president, Jim Burres, crowned Leonard Flint, King of Dogpatch and Gloria Brownhill was chosen Queen. IE
