FACLI LTY TO THE STUDENTS OF CHS lt has been my privilege to be prin- cipal of Condon High School for the past two years and a teacher prior to this. One will have to travel a long way to be associated with the caliber of student that walks the halls of Condon High. Take a back seat to no one, for you are as well prepared, academically and socially as any other group of students. Believe in yourself and in your school, for your school is no better than what you want it to be. Each one of you needs to add your hand to the develop- ing of the spirit of your school. As this is the last year that I will be at Condon, I would hope each one of you would remember me as a person rather than a principal. Goodbye. Don Gilman DON GILMAN is Condon High's friendly principal and also teaches Chemistry and Algebra I. Monument is his home town and he has his M. S. degree from East- ern Oregon College in La Grande. Mr. Gilman likes all sports and especially enjoys fishing. JUANITA SHEARER is Dean of Girls and as Home Ec instructor, she has the chore of teaching Condon High girls to become home- makers. As school librarian, she is often found in the library doing bookwork. She also advises the spirited Blue Devil pep club. Mrs. Shearer, originally from St. Helens, acquired her B. S. degree from Oregon State. She enjoys preparing new recipes and trying them out on her husband and four boys.
