STUDENT COUNCIL For the third consecutive year the Student Council has been in operation. -It is under the supervision of Mr. Vin- cent. The folloving students were elected by their respective classess, according to the regulations of the Constitution to carry on the work of the Student Council for this year. Four Seniors: Edvard Brown, Jerry Thomas, Jeanne Chaon and Beverly Dobberpuhl. Four Juniors: Betty Schneider, Wava Morrill, Neil Lenz and Robert White. Two Sophomoresg Earl Grandpre and Beverly Lofthouse. Two Ereshmen : Jerry Hearnen and Fatricia Koenig. Keith Taylor wasappointed Sergeant-at-arms. T 3 The principle sims of the Student Council are: To pro- vide a means whereby the students may assist in the'control and promotion of the various school activitiesg to provide a means whereby the students interests may be brought before the facultyg and to promote the general welfare of the school. With these points in mind the Student Council has done several worthy things during the past years. It plann- ed and arranged for the sale of War Savings Stamps in both the grades and in High School. Thesestampsiarc sold every other Tuesday and by the end of the school year we will have hit the S500 mark. The Council also planned for the printing of season Basaetball tickets and arranged and promoted their sale to the.public. with the Council taking on new activities each year we sincerely hope that it will be kept in operation in the fu- ture. sg' ,3 4
