STUDENT COUNCIR For the second consecutive year the Student Council has been in operation, under the supervision of Mr. Vincent. The following students were elected by their fellow classmen to carry on the work of the Council, according to the Constit- ution: four Seniors---Thomas Reardon, Leonard Dahl, Doris Zack and Esther Bain. four Juniors: Betty Lofthouse, Beverly Dobberpuhl, Keith Taylor and Edward Brown. Two Sophomores: Lloyd Lyren and Betty Schneider. Two Freshman: Loren Hildebrent and Mary Bradley. Sergeant-at-arms: Bob Collins. The first semester officers were: President---Thomas Reerdong Vice-President---Beverly Dobberouhlg Secretary- Treasurerm-Keith Teylorg Sergeant-at-arms--Bob Collins. The second semester officers were: President---Leonard Dahlg Vice-Presidents-Eetty Lofthouseg Secretary-Treasurer --Eetty Schneiderg Sergeant-at-arms--Bob Collins. This yeer tae Student Council has made possible many things such as, more school pcrties- It has also given some of the students an idea of the finencial difficulties of our schools. Next yeer there is to oe a meeting of all the Student Council officers at Vermillion. The Conde Student Council has hooes of attending but it is to be further decided by the Student Council of 1941-42. If you have any iders on how the school can be lmoroved bring them to the Student Council, they Pre always willing to cooperate. 86

PEP CLUB . For the second consecutive year the Pep Club has been an organization. Under the supervision of Miss O'Leary the Pep Club attended the games at home and in naghborlng towne Transportation to these games was made possible by a small amount of dues, which each member was asked to pay. Under the able leadership of Florian McPartland and Betty Lofthouse the Pop Club was heard at all home games and those at Turton, Stratford, Brentford and at the WLittle Jim Tournament.u We hope to have a larger membership in 1941-42 and to attend all of the games. A TRIBUTE TO THE PEP CLUB FLORIAN and ELTTY leaders sincere, 'Lead the club in hearty cheers When spirits were low and spirits blue, They cheered the team to a victory true, Twenty girls loyal and bright Followed the team in many a fight! Kept spirits high in each battle fought To merge victorious as they ought. They smiled through victory And cheered on through defeat, Kept bright the soirit That helped them to beat So we thank them for what they've done And give each member honors too, We hope in future years to come They'll see the pep club through! 88
