This fine class started the year out by having to give the first free party for the school because they came in last in the A.S.B. ticket selling contest. Quite a few of the class were in the high school band. Also a large number of the boys were very active participants in all three sports. I'm sure they were very thankful that they escaped the horrors of initiation. Mrs. Ross, Hurn, Garrits, Taylor, Unger, Hooper. The squads league record was five wins and five losses. The Lions bowed to Coupeville 55-28, the second place winner of the tournament. Con- crete was also defeated by La Conner by the score of 72-62, which is a record for the most points scored by a losing team in tournament history.
