74e7 On .-Xugust 31, 1051, a very bewildered looking bunch of freshmen took their place in Concrete High School, green as grass and twice as fresh. This was the usual procedure. However, it was not the usual procedure when this same group took the floor at the homecoming pep rally and came out with a winning skit. Kloes, Newby, Williams. Ringstad, Robertson There is an up and coming show of sport talent in the lfrcshman Class. This was proved by the fact that two boys made first teams letters in football. The Freshman Class is honored to have as its president the only freshman who was on the first team in basketball this year and who was also the only first team freshman in the tri-county basketball league. There are also two freshman boys on the baseball team this year. ln all three sports you could find a high percentage on the turnout list. XYe also have our share of musicians with twenty-two members of our class in the high school band. This makes up one 'iiixuod' 'xi-in third of the band. An unusually successful undertaking was a magazine, 'il ulcher's Folly , written and published by the Freshman Class. It was named for our lfnglish teacher and over 150 copies were sold. XVe shall go down in the history of the high school as the first freshman group to take up classes in the new building of the Concrete lligh School.
