.. 4 l - I J 'fi' F Sclrool lmprodvements The dream of a hlgh chool 1n Corcrete was realnzed 1n 1924 when the hxgh school and gymnasmm bu1ld1ngs were erected Work began soon after clearlng off the grounds ln order to make a playf1eld Wrth the money Mlke Moore wllled to the school playground equxpment was added ln 1926 The cement walks wh1ch now surround our school were made ln three dxfferent years A splendld road has been formed out of crushed rock along the top of the terrace In 1930 an add1t1on to the school was made The prmclpal Darts of whlch are the audrtorlum the chemlstry laboratory and the llbrary The Home Economrcs class had much equlpment 1nstalled and more w1ll probably be added next year After the addztron was completed all the bu1ld1ngs were pa1nted cream and trlmmed wlth a reddxsh brown shade The same year the lower held had a large amourt of work done on rt a dra1nage system was put 1n and the held was enlarged conslderably It was seeded ard now It IS a fme ball ground The ground west of the hxgh school burldmg was leveled off 1rto a lawn and terrace They were seed ed and cement steps were bullt so that now they add to the beauty of the school The artlstlc f1n1sh to all th1s work was secured by the plant mg of a large varlety of evergreen shrubs around the bu1ld1ngs and the xnstallxng of two lamp posts 1n front of the hxgh school In 1925 Concrete lrlgh School was accredlted allowlng students graduatmg from here to er ter any hlgh mstltutlon r- ..
