RBYANICA I932 iii O ff Via When we began our hxgh school educatron four years ago l1ttle d1d we realrze the meanmg of our progress or the outcome or our destmy These four years have proven to be very Joyous ones and ones the stud ents of our class w1ll not soon forget In the year of 1928 we must admlt we were rather rgnorant or green as we were chrrstened but we soon outgrew that name as we proved to be very valuable assets to C H S We electfoffrcers soon after tak1ng up our dutles as members of the hrgh school When every thmg was gorng along very nxcely and we were break1ng all records for conduct and grades somebody popped up wrth the 1dea Let s 1n1t1ate the greenhorrs' Yeah they d1d all rrght and It took us several weeks to overco'ne the 1dea of eatrng one of Krng Tut s eyes feastlng on worms and crawlmg around 1n fly paper l1ke a bunch of mlserable msects It was rather drffrcult for us to break away from our studres to plan a re turn party but wrth much coaxmg from the faculty we gave the Sopho mores a party on Aprrl 12th The followrng September we returned to school feelxng just a lrttle superlor to the new class of freshles but strll were looked down upon men Some boys were rather perslstent agarnst the 1dea of wear mg make up but they soon realrzed thelr fate rf they were go1ng to be stubborn and consented l1ke lrttle lambs One cant help laughmg when one thrnks ho v funny Ellsworth and a few others looked We elected Blanche Butler presrdent Fred Gardner v1ce presrdent Davrd Wh1te secretarv and treasurer Helen Barratt class reporter and MISS Chandler advrser Our thrrd year found the grrls wearrng larger hats and bovs larger shlrts for we row could clarm the trtle of berng the smartest class of Jumors ever attend ng C H S At least that s how we felt whether anv body else thought that I do not krow Our .Iumor Vodv1l turned out to be a wow Remember what a cute baby Davld Wh1te made? The Junlor Semor Banquet proved to he a great success also due to much hard work ard 8dV1CC from our faculty Our class was gamrng a reputat1on of hav rng several star players amorg ooth boys and grrls On our appearance agam 1H September 1931 we we1e brxmmmff over w1th anxrety and hrgh hopes to accomplrsh our last year rn dear old C H S We are workrng hard to ga1n t1tle to that lrttle purple sheen skrn and are begrnnmg to reallze how 11ttle we really know Even that IS a hard thmg to say when we have had such wonderful vrews on edu catlon We elected Maurrce Olson presrdert Henry Zongrone VICC presl dent Dav1d Whlte secretary and treasurer Helen M1tchel1 class e porter and M ss Chandler class advlser On Dec 30 1931 we gave the usual Senxor Alurnnl Banquet We were fortunate enough to have four radro crooners wrth us Davrd Wh1te Leslre Larson Albert Frank and Henry Zongrone who sang several numbers The Carn1val under the supervlsron of the Student Body turn ed out to be very amusrng We are now plarnrng our Senlor Play and tak1ng part 1n other actrvxtres fallrrg rn our hands to do before we march up the arsle to get our sheepskrns Alzce Czmrzzngharn 7 .
