There are only 12 girls and 6 guys to keep a student body of approximately 4250 students alive with spirit. Each person puts forth a tremendous amount of effort to keep the Cougar spirit flowing. The J.V, Cheerleaders ond Yell Leaders are novices. Their job is to try and acquaint their fellow classmates with the terrific Cougar teams. Their job is one of the hardest, for the turnout is usually the greatest for Varsity Games. Despite the heat of summer and the cold of winter, they can always be found with a smile on their faces and a cheer in their hearts. The cheerleaders work many long hours and many days perfect- ing their cheers, their mounts, preparing decorations, and holding clinics.
