FOOTBALL The 1962 Cougar football team posted a record of four wins, three losses, and a tie. This marks the fifth consecutive season that the team has played .500 ball or better. The three losses, by a combined total of twelve points, definitely showed that the Cougars were in every game until the final gun sounded. Marsha, a freshman at Concordia, and her two sisters, Janet and Donna, were killed in la car-train collision in Farina, Illinois, on Good Friday. Hands in Service was a great part of Marsha's life. She was active in church, Sunday School, and choir at her home. She also was ac- tive in the Walther League, serving in various offices and as zone secretary for two years. Her short mission in life concluded, Marsha's hands now serve continually in Heaven. Lois Marie Paul Concordia senior and supply teacher at St. Michael Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana, was granted her crown of glory April l8, l963. Lois's hands were always active in the works of service to her Lord not only here at Concordia but also to her kindergarten chil- dren at St. Michael's. Her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Erwin Paul of Forest Park, Illinois, are closely associated with the Concordia family, Rev. Paul having served as Chairman of the College Board of Control during the past year.
