The lexicons tell us that koinoniu means sharing. ioint participa- tion. fellowship. etc. Ultimately. however. our detinitions must come from life. specifically life in the Body of Christ. 'Koinonia'. the theme of this year book. has been symbolized on the cover by the stylized w symbol of our Seminary. The three circles indicate the triune revelation of God through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. represented by the Cross and Crown. His glorious victory has liberated us from sin. death and the god of this world: the crushed serpent. God's grace to the world has brought us into koinonia with the Father. through the Son and in the Holy Spirit. In the Spirit we have koinonia with bones another in the world embracing Body of Christ. The Seminaryyprepares us to serve this Body. to strengthen its koinonia and inspire its mission.
