Board Of Education Provides Progressive Leadership USD 333 BOARD OF EDUCATION Seated: Miss Martha Fyfe (clerk), Mr. Ray FTarper, Mr. Kenneth Esau, Mr. Mike Johnston, Mr. Roger Nelson, Dr. James Douglass, Mrs. LaVeda Hobbie. Standing: Dr. John Watson (superintendent), Mrs. Alberta Neel (president), Mr. Paul Koehn (assistant superintendent). Dr. John Watson Assumes USD 333 Superintendency Dr. John Watson replaced the retiring Mr. Har- old Clark as superintendent this academic year. Dr. Watson, a native of Oklahoma, graduated from Medicine Lodge High School, attended Pratt Junior College, Oklahoma Panhandle State University and the University of Northern Colorado. He recently completed the require- ments for his doctorate in Education. Prior to coming to Concordia he served as su- perintendent of USD 247 at Cherokee, Kansas the past eight years. Dr. Watson and his wife Judy have three children: Jonna, Janae and Jarred who are enrolled in the Concordia schools. Dr. Watson has expressed enthusiasm for his new job and the community. He looks forward to meeting all individuals in the district. 2 Administration
