A Fragment From the first day of our freshmen year to the day we graduate may seem to others as only a very short time. It may even seem short to us. But in this time a lot of things have happened. I'Ve have matured quite a bit; made a lot of discoveries, changed our minds many times about the things that are important to us. Often school may seem but a small and unimportant part of this maturity, yet it contributes quite a bit to what we become. It gives us a chance to develop socially, mentally, physically and emotionally. Through this education, we are brought to an exit, a growth period, and an entrance -an exit from the childhood world of recesses, a growth period in knowledge, and an entrance into adulthood. Is it any wonder that we have so many memories of this bittersweet period of our lives. Though our high school years are but a fragment in time, without them neither CHS, its history nor our lives would be complete. 20 A 65° Thermostat setting cooled off the situation.

In Time These guys built a house Marsha acted Seniors These gals led the cheers Seniors, our year has come, Bringing with it the last stages of adolescence. We're creeping into the future. Ambitions and goals constantly pushing us forward. We are making our memories as the year goes by. Time is passing day by day. Bring us closer to the moment of going our way. As our last prom has been danced. We'll keep those memories of the fun dates we had. Seniors, crying, sighing, laughing, as graduation nears. This year has become a fragment in history But one we shall never forget. 1980 Angela Aldridge 21
