The Concordia Board of Educa- tion in 1931 provided for the in- scription of the following state- ments over the north and south doors to our high school building: To Per- petuate Learning For Our Children and The Days That Make Us Happy Make Us Wise. These concepts are as true today as they were in 1931. Each student who attends Concordia Senior High School has unlimited opportunity to achieve these goals if he or she only desires. 1 wish tocompliment the Hurkaru Staff and sponsor for the remarkable job of capturing and preserving for posterity many of the activities of the 1966-67 school year. It is further de- sired to express good fortune to all Concordia students in their quest for knowledge, continuing education, and happiness. Harold M. Clark Clark And Musick Head Administration It is a pleasure to be back in Con- cordia High as a part of the Panther aggregation. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you Panthers and the staff members for your coopera- tion in making this a successful home- coming year. I am looking forward to an even greater year for the Panthers in 1967-68. You students have a great life ahead of you if you prepare for it now. Yours is the Space Age. It is the era o f new frontiers with un - limited horizons. It will be what you are prepared to ma ke it. A secon- dary education today is not enough for you to meet the needs of tomorrow. So do your best to become educated and effective participants for the world of tomorrow. Today will be yesterday tomorrow, so don't wait-- start now. Donald Musick
