The going squad won only one meet, their own quadrangular, but showed grad- ual progress throughout the season. Their finest hour came at the NCKL meet where the Panthers battled to a second place finish. Seniors, Richard Morgan and Sam Harding, Co-captains, were the most consistent point producers on the squad. These two boys with John Culley, D. D. Trost, Renus Strait, Jim Radcliffe and Bill Har- gis, provided sound leadership for the young squad. Coaches and followers were most justified with the progress made by this track team and feel that the Panthers won't be long re- gaining league, regional, and state prestige. Co-Captains Richard Morgan and Sam Harding check the season's record with Coach Betts and Coach Sim- mons.
