In the fall of 1954 the class of ‘58 started its long journey through high school as fresh- man. They were led bv Sheri Johnson, president; Steve VanDeMark, vice-president; Carol Cassel, secretary; ana Patsy Baker, treasurer. Mr. Harold Duncan was head sponsor assisted by Mrs. Alice Cory, Mr. Ivan Davis, and Miss Elizabeth Banker. For entertainment the class had a dance in the cafeteria. As sophomores, the class of '58 was headed by Sue Fisher, president; Larry Herman, vice- president; Carolyn Ball, secretary; and Patsy Baker, treasurer. Sponsors for tne class were Mr. Harold Crimmins, head sponsor, Mr. Wilber Rawson, Miss Norma Gooden, and Miss Pat Dwerlkotte. For a money-making project the class had a food and rummage sale. The sopho- mores had a picnic one semester and a dance the other. The highlights of the junior year included the presentation of the play Old Doc and the junior senior prom. They chose as the theme When You Wish Upon A Star. The junior offi- cers were Gene Koester, president; Ronald Ames, vice-president; Phyllis Sallman, secretary; and Donna Ramsey, treasurer. Mr. Robert Collins was the head sponsor, assisted by Mrs. Alice Cory, Miss Gwendolyn Fletcher, Mr. Linden Moberly, and Mr. Eldon Thornburg. To earn money for the senior trip the juniors sold pencils and theater passes, attended a filling station, conducted concession stands, and gave an all-school party. The class of '58 started their last lap of their journey as seniors. They elected Ronald Ames, president; Ronnie Walker, vice-president; Jeannie Ginn, secretary; and Donna Ramsey, treasurer. The sponsors were Mr. Arley Bryant, head sponsor. Miss Gwendolyn Fletcher, Mr. John Randall, and Miss Anilaura Peck. With the goal of the senior sneak ahead, the seniors had several money-making projects. The class sold magazine subscriptions and with the aid of their parents they held a chile supper. They presented Jailhouse Rock as their all school partv and Papa Is All as their play. The juniors entertained the seniors with Garden of the Goas -the theme of the junior-senior prom. After finishing the finals the class of '58 trouped off to Rock-a-Way Beach for four days of fun. Upon returning they marched across the stage to receive their diplomas, thus ending the story of the high school days of the class of '58. LARSON'S SUPER SERVICE MAX'S AUTO SERVICE
