Confident and earn- est of purpose, Joe set out immediately to win laurels in all his classes. An aversion toward hurrying, a dry and explosive sense of humor, a fanatical and typical Hoosier, and an equally fanatical golf enthusiast: these epithets could describe but one person, our own Valentine. His carefree attitude is contagicus, and during depressing moments and bor- ing classes the boredom and listlessness will soon evaporate if Mack is around. Golf, II.
