Cobber Band arching mm amz! women make memf mum ARCHING musicians in Cobber Band en- liven the homecoming parade with their martial airs and sharpen enthusiasm among students and players as they strike up a tune at home games, in our gymnasium, or at the football stadium. Foot. ball fans Watched them step in rhythm at the home- coming half-time performance. Under the direc- tion of Leif Christianson and student director Leon Flancher, the band polishes its numbers in the Mu- sic Hall before public performances. Leon Flancher pulls peppy march music from the Cobber Band in the balcony. Crashing cymbals and blowing horns sound through the Fieldhouse as Cobber Band gives the go ahead signal to a cheering basketball crowd.
