A mbwe ra the liberal mf J ONCORDIA pays her tribute through the critical journal, Discourse: A Review of the Liberal Arts, which made its first appearance in Ianuary. The editorial board including representatives of the humanities, social sciences and physical sciences- encourages the best creative work of students and faculty and invites work by other contributors. Among the major activities of the Student Asso- ciation are the publishing of the two most popular books on campus each fall. Who's New is a pictorial index of the freshmen, transfers and the new faculty members. The Student Directory is a complete list of students, faculty, their telephone numbers and addresses. The tedious task of compiling the STUDENT DIRECTORY WHS Producing WHUS NEXV was the job of Malene Torgerson, Susan completed by Bruce Larson, editor, Erna Darr, Ron Rogncss and Evenson, Don Hagen, editor and 'Wayne Erickson. The studio on third floor of Old Main took on a new look when a dividing wall was built, a new wool rug was laid, a better console was installed and 150 albums were added to the record library. The staff of oihcials, engineers, and announcers totals forty-three. The KOBB Association is an organization of cam- pus radio supporters which meet twice each month. KOBB, the voice of Concordia, aims to bring the type of programming which can not be ob- tained frorn commercial stations. KOBB offers four- teen varieties of programs including student forums, sports news, devotional programs, jazz, and classi- cal music. A Ianuary poll indicated that fifty-five per cent of the Cobbers listen to KOBB and fifty- nine per cent tune in Campus, KOBB,s twice- weekly show broadcast over KVOX. Moorhead State College, North Dakota State College and Concordia College formed Tri-College Network-the Hrst inter- state college network in the nation. KOBB officials-Duane Davis, Ion Lund, Ron Mosman, program directors and Al Grundahl, station manager-take positions behind one of the turn- tables in the remodeled KOBB Studio.
