Shaking hands with the headless monster, Gary Carl- son helps construct the man who is destined to be the victim of LDS-AES strategy. LDS Dressed in semi-formal attire, LDS-AES members enjoy their New Years ban- quet with the dates that fell to their lot. Dr. Noice was the after dinner speaker at this banquet at the Silver Moon. Qjldlfjl in their .racial circle dunking for apples at a barn party. In December LDS-AES members turned out as carolers at Chil- dren's Village. Groups from both societies also drove to the Augsburg game and afterward attended a party at the Minneapolis home of a member. LDS- AES members, practicing their motto Enter to learn, depart to serve -hold many positions of leadership on campus. UEEN Nancy and a lady of her court both claim the girls of Lambda Delta Sigma as society sisters. Proving their loyalty Lambda Delts sport crimson sweaters with white emblems. Members of Alpha Epsilon Sigma and their sisters banqueted at the Silver Moon at New Years. With a spirit inspired by spontaneity they breezed through their second year in a Hurry of activity-picnicking, raking leaves, eating chili, bowling and other parties. Their fall pledge party took the form of a picnic around the fountain on Old Main lawn. They breakfasted in a morning glow at homecoming time. Organized in 1956, they claim from their Cobber Hall meeting place, We have more future than history, our future will make history. It looks as though they are out to prove it. Second-year Chi-Zetes added an emblem and chain to their pins, identifying sweaters, scarves, gloves, and sweatshirts. Gray and gold jackets mark the brotherhood of Chi-Delts.
