Gay hours spent stuffing chicken-wire were rewarded with the second place prize. The villain, looking suspiciously like a Mondamin, stands over the corpse as poor Pea Flower mourns the death of her father in a skit presented by the Alpha-Zetes. Chi-Delts azlmf, determination brings ffemlzir INNING the coveted Hrst prize for their homecoming float- mixMACsters, Chi Zeta Lambda and Chi Delta Phi continued their win- ning streak. With a spirit inspired by spontaneity they breezed through their second year in a Hurry of activity-picnicking, raking leaves, eating chili, bowling and other parties. Their fall pledge party took the form of a picnic around the fountain on Old Main lawn. They breakfasted in a morning glow at homecoming time. Organized in 1956, they claim from their Cobber Hall meeting place, We have more future than history, our future will make history. It looks as though they are out to prove it. Second-year Chi-Zetes added an emblem and chain to their pins, identifying sweaters, scarves, gloves, and sweatshirts. Gray and gold jackets mark the brotherhood of Chi-Delts.
