In sociology the study turns from the individual to the group. Theorizing on human relations and reactions comes first through textbooks. Then cold facts come to life in courses such as applied and experimental psychology and in actual case studies. Interesting activities besides classroom work include field trips to institutions at Grafton, Fergus Falls and Iames- town. These Helds are so closely related that many stu- dents work for a combined major. RAYMOND O. FARDEN, BA., Concordia C0l.,' Ph.D., Univ. of Minn. WALDEMAR LrLLo, BA., MA., and Ph.D., Univ. of N. D.
