Richard Hodges, Pat Rice, Kathy Lokken, Kathy Kel- der, Beth Horlocker, Yvon- ne Vannote ' The 1958 COBBER was printed by photo-offset lithography by the Augsburg Publishing House on 80 pound white Mountie high opacity offset paper. Plates and keylin-es were furnished by the Bureau of Engraving, Inc., Minneapolis. The main text 1S 12 point Granjon on a 13 point body using a 36 point Weiss initial letter. Picture captions are 10 point Granjon with one point additional space as are the special italic blocks in the faculty section. Identifications are 8 point Granjon on a 10 point body. Garamond light italic, 36 point, is used for headlines with 18 point Garamond bold kickers. Photography, art and composition are by the students, 192 INALLY we are able to say it is finished! But yet anyone who has had a part in the COBBER'S production knows how difhcult it is to end a joyful task. Always I will have to remember an ever faithful staff who possessed both talent and prudence. GAIL and her staff are able to think back upon their all night sessions which included at least one fictitious character. IEAN can be remembered for her sudden interest in the faculty, which lasted but two weeks. ANNETTE'S craving for raw carrots may account for her terrific ambition and her prolific literary style. Really DON is the only co-ordinator who could ever schedule a philosophy club five times for one picture. At any rate, our photo editor MAYO was always shooting at a terrific pace, at least until GEORGE hit the campus. PETE and his sports sec- tion also set a new record which I'll not mention. BEV makes a sweet typist, even at the eighteenth hour after a week end in the cities. HELEN will long be remembered as our paster-upper. Adver- tising manager IOEY may be the first and last true Gaul on the staff. CAROL has the distinction of selling the greatest number of yearbooks to date. ARVID'S juggling act has been limited mostly to the account book, where it was 'needed most. The initials E.O. should long be remembered by IAY. The artwork will remain a symbol of MARION,S handiwork. IULIA finishes a tedious task as she completes the proofreading of our book. To the three gentlemen in Minneapolis, Mr. Thomas Hanson, Mr. Art Segal and Mr. Al Omini- ski I must say thank you. Al's panic button has been especially helpful which coupled with pa- tience and guidance has meant much to the staff and editor. Our first objective has been to please the students of the college. If you are pleased I would ask you to pass this on to the staff 3 if you are not pleased then I would ask you to inform the editor. Next year we look forward to a better book yet, which will be under the guidance of two very capable co- editors. Lastly to the staff and to the readers may I remind you once again that the COBBER should remain SOLI DEO GLORIA, to God alone the glory! W!!
