And in those reddirick houses ( at which we were always welcome I they must have talked over goings-on in our daily lives, and thought about how Concordia ' s students come and go, and wondered, at this time and that, just where ice have gone, and what we are doing, and how we have benefited by their efforts . . . . . . Batting or catching with the boys on the campus behind Sicker Hall . . or perhaps playing the piano in an almost-empty dormitory until study hours . . Thoughts about the coming Summertime . . about the beach . . a job., maybe about Ludderland .. Still, warm nights studying .. that pre-Summer inability to concentrate.
