Alfred Miller (President of the ABC District), Pres. Roland Frantz (Executive Officer), Rev. Alvin Raduenze, Mr. Walter Kupsch, and Mr. Robert Tegler. THE FACULTY ROLAND A. FRANTZ B. A. , B. D. President Religion This fine yearbook takes its place beside others that have been produced annually to tell something of the fascinating story of Con¬ cordia. Yet this volume will have special significance inasmuch as it appears during Con cordia ' s 40th anniversary year. For all who are associated with our school, this will in¬ deed be a book of remembrance. Forty years of blessed work in the King¬ dom of our Lord! Forty years of glorifying God by relating the wisdom of the world to the Cross of Christ! Forty years of preparing men and women for the most rewarding w ork on earth! Who can measure Concordia ' s large contribution to the world and to the Church? May the following pages, as they tell of the academic and social life of our school, serve as happy and satisfying reminders of the blessing of Concordia! OM+JL L. The names Concordia College, Edmonton, and Dr. Schwermann are synonymous. One cannot think of the one without the other. Dr. Schwermann served as the first president of Concordia for thirty-three years, 1921-1954, and from 1954-1960 he continued to serve as a full time professor. This year, 1960-61, Dr. Schwermann is on sabbatical leave serving full time as the president of The Lutheran Church--Canada. ALBERT H. SCHWERMANN B. A. , B. Ed. , D. D. On sabbatical leave. JOHN H.
