Inga Irvine (Inkie), Rivers, Man. Inga entered our institution in the 1954-55 term and has now completed two years in the college department. This fall she will go to Calgary as a parish worker. Inga is the captain of the Cheerleaders as well as the head of the Library Staff. She is also an active member of the Students ' Council and the Aurora Staff. Jean Hedrich (Jeanie), Whiskey Gap, Alta. Although this is Jean ' s first and final year at Concordia, she has proven to be very studious co-ed. In the dorm Jean is known for her compositions of very inspiring poetry. She is enrolled in the educational department. This summer she will take a course at River Forest, and plans to begin teaching in the fall. College Freshmen DALE MOHR, Grenfell, Sask. Aim: Ministry. College Graduates Walter McDonald (Mac), Calgary, Alta. Mac appeared on Concordia ' s campus in the fall of ' 52. During his stay he has been a member of the Male Choir, Choir- isters, Students ' Council, Social Commit¬ tee and the Yearbook Staff. This year he has filled the position of Student Body President and was our L.S.G.C. represen¬ tative in Milwaukee. Mac will continue his training for the Ministry at Fort Wayne this fall. Carl Wolski, Wembley, Alta. In his six years at Concordia, Carl has contributed much to sports and social life on campus. This year he was at the helm in the Men ' s dormitory and on Students ' Council. He was a star in baseball, captain and coach of the hockey team and has been captain of champion intramural teams. He plans to continue his ministerial training at Fort Wayne this fall. Vernon Threinen (Vern), Lipton, Sask. Having spent four years at Concordia, Vern has done much to further college activities during his stay. This year he was chairman of the Chapel Committee, Senior Hockey Manager and Canteen Manager. Being devoted to his studies, Vern ranks high in his work in the College department. He is looking forward to his studies at our new Senior College at Fort Wayne in the fall. Wilbur Kropp (Bill), Ottawa, Ontario. This is Bill ' s fifth term here at Concordia. During his stay here he has taken a keen interest in sports. This year he played Senior Hockey and took part in Tumbling. He was a member of the Dormitory and Students ' Council. Bill also enjoys teaching Sunday School and duck hunting. He intends to continue his ministerial training next year at Fort Wayne, Indiana. Edward Arndt (Yogi), Carlyle, Sask. Ever since Yogi came to Concordia five years ago, he has taken part in various school activities, such as Male Chorus, Choristers, Drama, Library Staff and Dor¬ mitory Council. Yogi is also active in church work, both in the Walther League and in Sunday School at Bethlehem Church. He intends to continue his ministerial studies at Fort Wayne this fall. 7
