K-I--I1-2 Asllllijl '942 MUSHBALL Last fall the pupils in both high school and elementary school were entertained by members of the different high school classes trying to beat each other in several mushball games. The Senior girls were champions in the girls league and the Jlmior boys took the lead in the boys league. These winners then played the tie-off. Naturally the boys won, but we had a lot of fun trying to beat them. BASKETBALL Later in the school year when the weather was too bad to stay out we started a basketball tournament. It proved to be good entertainment for a while, but some, both boys and girls, were too bashful to go out on the floor, so it finally fell through. Of the games that were played the Seniors again lead in the glrl's league and the Juniors in the boy's league. Eleanor Stroup UCAUGHT IN THE DRAFT' This year, our faculty underwent a change. Due to no fault of the government draft we were forced to replace two members of our faculty. Miss Stewart, our music teacher, was replaced by Miss Young. Mr. Snith was replaced by Mr. Grine who had been with us previously and Mr. Grine by Mr. Gallagher. The student body is well satisfied with the revision.
