We have now gotten acquainted and are able to go right ahead with the rest of the students. We also have had good cooperation and taken part in all school activities and assemblies. The class consisted of 1.2 pipils at the first of the year. We lost four and gained three which leaves us a total of Ll at the present. Joe Einith and Harry Barwell quit, and Gloria Welling and Unice Knight moved to some other school. We gained Tom Peth from Annisville, Jennie Costa from West Sunbury, and just lately Dorothy Everly from Pittsburgh. About the third week of school, we elected class officers. The returns told us that the President was Mary Lou Hovisg Vice President was I-fred Mcliinneyg Secretary- Theasurer was Reed Campbell. Carl Campbell was elected for the Athletic Council. We had a Freshmen initiation day, as usual. Of course we were very bashful and embarrassed but we pulled through the day all right. There was also a Freshmen party that night. Some of us were so scared we could hardly do our share but the audience had fun out of it, even tho' we didn't. Did You? After the party, everyone went on a Treasure Hunt. Following this we all came back to the school house for a weiner roast. We may by called green horns but we hope, next year, we can feel at home, and I'm sure we won't be so bashful or backward. Margaret Ellen Martin
