A play in which Floyd Jarvis ran pigskin for 40 yards in the Children's Home game brought everyone to his feet in joyous outburst. Ernie K1uttz's 70-yard kick in the Kannapolis game will be long remem- bered by all of us. Of course, Jack Miller's superb passing throughout the season won him the title of the best passer in the South Piedmont Conference. Also, the line bucks and great running of Dick Vau- din won him a scholarship to Duke University.
