M.N. Freeman A Message From Our President I am honored to have assumed the Presidency of Concord College in May of 1976. Concord is an excellent college with a proud heritage of providing quality higher education for many generations of West Virginia citizens. A vast majority of our students are serious in their pursuit of higher educa¬ tion under the direction of a dedicated and well-qualified faculty. I am particularly pleased that the coordinated efforts of students, faculty, and administration have made possible the production of this issue of the Pine Tree, the first in several years. It is my hope that continued dedicated efforts of the Pine Tree staff, their advisors, and the Publications Board will result in continuous annual publication of a yearbook which will ap¬ propriately reflect Concord College and its people.
