DEDICATION Since his undergraduate days this man has proved an asset to Concord College. He has put in many tireless years of service and through his perserverance and hard work, he has helped to make Concord College a better campus. As an active member of the Concord Alumni Association, he has worked endlessly and willingly to improve Concord. For his dedication to Concord, his friendly spirit, and his willingness to help all who seek it—we with deep appreciation and gratitude, dedicate the 1968 Pine Tree to Mr. James Otto McKinney. 6

FORWORD: CONTENTS: The years at Concord represent many things to many people: To a Senior, the last year is the culmination of the greatest year of his life, To the student a year consists of memories of dances, friendships, romance, fun and of study, To the faculty the year is composed of lesson plans, faculty meetings and sponsoring of organizations, To the athlete and his coach the year is seen as one in which conference champion¬ ships are sought, To the organizations and Greeks the year foresees the hustle and bustle of planning, elections, parties, and everlasting friendships, To the editor and his staff, An adventure always has an end . . . and this is an end of an adventure!!!
