Contrary to the connotations of the above title, the Dance Committee does not consist of an exclusive circle of persons afllicted with St. Vitus' Dance or a passion for Ring-Around-the- Rosie. Rather, they are a group of girls bent on collecting 34.50 for the I-II Dance, frienzedly writing invitations, and performing Herculean miracles with crepe paper in order to transform the gym into a suitable atmosphere for a dance. This year's Dance Committee has carried on the behind-the-scenes operations necessary for the success of the concert dances and the mem- orable I-II Dance under Moni Wulff's capable leadership.

Gqtfifatic cgiiociatiorz Our Athletic Association, run adeptly by Hart Birnie and Anne McLean, manages the more technical aspects of the long-standing rivalry between the two school teams, the Reds and the Blues. The Indoor Meet in March and the October Meet in May are the most important occurrences of this rivalry, but the numerous Red and Blue games throughout the year have had a great deal of excitement and support. +++4 Another facet of C. A.'s athletic program this year has been a radical departure from those of other years, for Concord Academy is now participating heavily in interscholastic sports.
