Unforgetable Super, Fantastic, Stunning: That's how the Conant Gymnastics Team felt about itself and the season this year. And why wouldn't wel We broke the school team record and set a high with a 136.25, not to mention all the individual records that were set. We even sent one of our girls, Carri King, to state. For some of this we owe a big thanks to our enthusiastic coach, Mrs. Debbie Greenlee, who kept us working hard and reaching far, and who also had the know how to make the team work. The rest of course we owe to the girls for putting in a lot of time and effort. For us Seniors, leaving the team will be extremely hard, for this team is like a family. We all laughed and cried together. We'll all remember those good times like Kathy lo and Sher's fish show, Carri King and Carrie Potonic's impromptu routines, and len Hapl chewing her food as she's working out. How can we forget our sit down strike because Mr. Raymond turned off our precious music. Although we played a lot, we worked a lot too and the mixture made the season a lot of fun. Gymnasts Place Second At State Meet We came so close, but a 152.45 is a great score to end a season with. We shattered many school records, and for the first time we were undefeated, including invites, until the State Series. We shared many great moments, like winning the Rolling Mead- ow's Invite and the MSL Conference Meet. We were the first Conant Gymnastics Team ever to do such a feat, but we know it certainly won't be the last team ever to do that, because records are meant to be broken. Next year when the score, at the State Meet, rads Conant 155.00 to Addison Trail's 154.00, and when you guys receive that first place trophy, you btter drag Mr. Raymond into the shower and keep up the tradition as a State Championship Team would. Remember never to get a big head, because in gymnastics you always have to stay hungry, if you lose that. you get beat!!!!
