Musicians And Artists Harmonize Conant's Art and Music departments are some ot the finest in the area, participating in many events throughout the year. These include the band and choir Christmas concerts, and the Art departments many art displays at Harper College and the Schaum- burg Library. The major production in which both departments take part in is the annual musical. This year's musical presentation was Briga- doon. Long hours of hard work and time were put into staging the show. Mr. Killinger arranged the production beautifully with the help ol Mr. Hoerne- mann's pit band. The Scottish sites were brought to lite by Mrs. Hanlon and her art studio classes. Also, Mr. Fletcher was a major contributor to the produc- tion. Musical takes a lot out of the cast and the members behind the scenes, but provides great memories. It is just one of the major representations of what can be accomplished when the Conant Art and Music departments collaborate.
