The Classes: An Important Part Of Conant The Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes are four separate clubs that meet on a regular basis. Many students think that they are a part of Student Council, but that is a misconception. The two are actually quite different. Although the Freshman Class doesn't sponsor any maior events, the students still meet to plan events that will enable them to meet new people and to interact in this new new environment better. The Sophomore Class has the opportunity to spon- sor such things as the selling of class rings. The members are able to decide which company gives the most for the least money. This is their major proiect for the year. The Junior Class plays a major role in the social activities at Conant by preparing for Prom. Every detail that goes into Prom, such as the fashion show, meals, and music, the Junior Class decides. Finally, the Senior Class is also involved in several important activities at Conant.
