Co-Ed Squad Makes Debut The 1985-86 Varsity Cheerleaders were faced with many new challenges that made for a memorable season. Our first co-ed squad in the history of Conant was a success due to the effort put forth by each squad member. The team work and the close- ness achieved was the essence of the squad. This made it very exciting and enjoyable to lead our football team to victory. Throughout basketball season there were also many lessons to be learned. Although things did not always go our way, we maintained our enthusiasm, always striving for a positive attitude. The spirit that we shared, with the help of stu- dents, parents, faculty and our coaches was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. Cheerleading holds many memories for me that I will cherish forever.
