s,,w,fre . Skills lmproved The Forensics Team is a very close and inspira- tional team. The members get experience competing against other schools in all forms of public speaking. During the competitions, they meet people who hold a common interest. After a member receives a tro- phy, they realize that the trophy isn't as important as the individual and team effort that won it. The Home Economics club extends skills beyond the classroom. Combining practice with fun, this year's club tackled projects ranging from mass pro' duction techniques utilized in the Valentine cookie sale to service projects such as the completion of pillows for a local nursing home. Special Interest Groups Horticulture and Photography Clubs are special interest groups that gain knowledge through their endeavors throughout the year. The Horticulture Club designs and displays many arrangements needed for various school events. The Photography Club members learn the art ot photography through framing, shooting, and develop- ing their own works.
