A Navy junior he lived in various Navy towns around the country before attending the United States Naval Academy in 1970 He was commissioned 1n Commander Moye's initial sea tour was in USS FARRA GUT CDDG-371 from 1974 to 1977 where he served as First Lieutenant and Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer He was as signed as Combat Systems Officer in USS ARTHUR W RADFORD CDD-9685 from 1980 to 1982 This was followed by a tour as Combat Systems Officer for Commander De stroyer Squadron TWO SIX until 1984 Commander Moye was Executive officer in USS CONOLLY CDD 9791 during Shore duty assignments have included the Bureau of Na val Personnel as a Personnel Assignment Officer the Office of the Bonus Program Manager the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy fManpower and Reserve Affairsl as the Administrative Assistant and the Staff of Commander U S Naval Surface Forces Atlantic as the Personnel Pro grams Officer Commander Moye received a Masters Degree in Management from Central Michigan University 1n 1979 Commander Moye s personal decorations include the Le gron of Merit the Meritorious Service Medal fwith two gold starsl and the Navy Commendation Medal fwith gold starl Commander Moye s wife Nancy IS a professional educator They reside with their two daughters Alison and Laura in
