Joe Hoag works on the subject of Grass Disease, and Steve Wier is learn- ing more about Water Pollution, both studying under the advisership of Adell Snyder. Sue Mull does research work in the fields of Debate and Speech, with Luanne Epstein as faculty adviser. An experimental program called Independent Study, evaluated by the faculty, is new at C.P.H.S. this year. It gives any interested student an opportunity to take work inde- pendently from the classroom instruction under the leadership of members of the faculty. Projects are students' own choices to learn all they can and come to their own conclusions about their research. Requirements are to have a B average in all subjects butaB plus average in the area of research. Brad McLouth, under the advisership of Lloyd Bishop, does his research in the field of Physical Education. 44 Pam Grose delves into the cultural field of Art, under the direction of adviser Dorothy Batts.
